Manufacturing Engineer - Factory Development

Location: Remote within the United States; based in Dallas, Texas. Occasional travel of up to 35% is required. ITAR eligibility is required: U.S. citizenship, U.S. lawful permanent residence, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

What you will do

• Own critical manufacturing projects from inception through completion, including operational optimization and complex technical problem resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis and lead sustainable corrective solutions for manufacturing-process problems.
• Build pragmatic factory systems that address operational inefficiencies and inform future software development.
• Redesign existing production processes and introduce new processes and manufacturing assets.
• Implement process improvements that increase production rates and add previously unavailable capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant STEM field, or at least 5 years of leadership experience in a high-intensity production environment.
• 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing role, preferably with meaningful project leadership.
• Experience developing and implementing production processes or systems in a high-growth environment.
• Proven project execution experience in manufacturing and the ability to solve deep technical or operations problems.
• Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements for U.S. government space technology.
• Ability to travel occasionally, up to 35% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience applying software approaches using SQL, VBA, Python, or similar tools.
