TL;DR
Product Engineer, Robotics (AI-driven warehouse automation): Leading European demo and test operations for robotic picking solutions and supporting pre-sales and post-sales customer visits with an accent on warehouse robotics, customer requirements analysis, and product demonstrations. Focus on investigating onsite issues, conducting feasibility and customer tests, and analyzing operational data to increase value at deployed sites.
Location: Haarlem/Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid); travel 30%+ within Europe, primarily Western Europe.

What you will do
- Lead the European demo and test site for robotic picking.
- Coordinate customer visits, tours, and in-depth product demonstrations in Amsterdam.
- Conduct pre-sales customer site visits and evaluate customer requirements against available technology.
- Run customer tests at the Amsterdam demo site under the direction of the go-to-market team.
- Visit existing and ramping customer sites to investigate onsite issues and work with operating teams.
- Analyze operational data to increase the value of deployed solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field, or strong computer science skills.
- At least 2 years of experience in warehouse logistics, automation, or industrial robotics.
- Experience working on teams bringing products to market or at a startup.
- Ability to present findings, build consensus, and speak publicly.
- Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Fluent Dutch and English required; visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have
- German or French language skills.
- Five or more years of experience in the industrial product sector and customer-facing sales or sales support experience.
- Expert knowledge of warehouse operations or industrial robotics, including robotic manipulation, sortation and conveyor systems, or vision systems and sensors.
- Experience with feasibility studies, proposals, professional presentations, or collateral creation.
- Data analysis using Python and working knowledge of ROS, Linux, or Kubernetes.
