Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Location: Anniston, Alabama, United States; requires 25% domestic travel and 5% international travel.

Salary: $90,400–$120,100 base compensation per year, plus benefits and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Lead process improvement, problem resolution, project management, and employee training for manufacturing processes.
• Investigate production stoppages and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.
• Improve manufacturing methods for cost reduction, quality improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Develop routings, processes, tooling, and equipment solutions for alternate production requirements.
• Coordinate manufacturing launches for new and revised products, including cost and rate setting, tool sourcing, process definition, and preproduction evaluation.
• Supervise tool room and facilities maintenance personnel and lead the on-site safety team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Ability to identify, lead, and implement process improvements while working hands-on when needed.
• Strong communication, organization, independent judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Access.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Prior leadership experience.
