Technician Trainer

hirify.global develops the Omnipod wearable insulin delivery platform and is expanding its manufacturing and international operations.

What you will do

• Deliver on-the-job training and mentor manufacturing operators during onboarding and skills development.
• Maintain training records, track employee progress, and support documentation updates.
• Coordinate cross-training, skill matrix progression, competency assessments, and certification readiness.
• Support rework training and process improvements with Process and Production Engineering teams.
• Verify daily cleaning and weekly preventive maintenance activities.
• Monitor cleanroom protocols, PPE usage, 5S practices, and production-floor compliance.

Requirements

• Diploma in an engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience as a production or process technician in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Experience executing on-the-job training, competency assessments, and certification processes.
• Good communication, analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• English and Malay fluency required; ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Nice to have

• Experience with video microscopes, micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, and dial indicators.
• Knowledge of automated machines, tools, production processes, quality control, and root cause analysis.
• Strong planning, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
