Manufacturing Operations Trainer

Location: Onsite at the Penang SDSM Office in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

• Conduct classroom training for new-hire operators and technical training for direct labor employees.
• Train and certify employees on general requirements and production processes.
• Develop training materials and criteria for evaluating training effectiveness.
• Document training events and compile and publish training metrics.
• Identify quality problems, compliance gaps, and process efficiency improvements for production management.
• Provide feedback and corrective actions from daily defect reviews, participate in SGA / Team Excellence activities, and conduct MSA for operators.

Requirements

• Diploma in business administration, commerce, management, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Excel.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, a results-oriented approach, urgency, and commitment.
• Ability to handle small parts with excellent clarity.

• Flexibility to work a 12-hour AWS shift and overtime as required by the team.
