Operations Technical Trainer, V

Location: Onsite at the Burnet, TX facility; flexibility to work shift-based schedules is required.

Salary: $31.97–$40.14 per hour.

What you will do

• Develop and deliver manufacturing, technical, quality, and safety training for operators, technicians, and production personnel.
• Conduct new-hire orientation, onboarding, foundational manufacturing training, and on-the-job training with structured coaching.
• Monitor competency and post-training performance, identify skill gaps, and implement retraining or coaching plans.
• Manage qualification, certification, recertification, skills validation, training matrices, and electronic training records.
• Create and improve work instructions, qualification guides, certification programs, job aids, SOPs, and other controlled documentation.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and Continuous Improvement teams on process changes, new products, equipment implementation, audits, and quality initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least two years of related experience.
• Experience delivering manufacturing or technical training, facilitating classes, and conducting on-the-job training in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with competency assessments, skills validation, certification programs, employee coaching, and post-transfer performance monitoring.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, process controls, safety requirements, and operational excellence principles.
• Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems or electronic training-record platforms.
