Trainer 2, Operations Training

Location: Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia; onsite at the Penang SDSM Office

What you will do

• Conduct classroom training for new-hire operators and technical training for direct labor employees.
• Develop training materials, document training events, and compile and publish training metrics.
• Create criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
• Train and certify direct labor employees on general requirements and production processes.
• Identify quality problems, compliance gaps, and process-efficiency improvements for production management.
• Provide feedback and corrective actions based on daily defect reviews, and participate in SGA and Team Excellence activities.

Requirements

• Diploma in business administration, commerce, management, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to work a 12-hour AWS shift and overtime as required.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong sense of urgency, commitment, self-motivation, and ability to learn quickly.
