Consultant, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Support the end-to-end reporting lifecycle, from data sourcing and transformation through analysis and insight delivery.
• Use Databricks and centralized cloud-based storage environments to prepare, transform, and analyze data.
• Build clear, user-focused dashboards and reports in Power BI using data storytelling and visualization principles.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.
• Use Power Automate to automate workflows for data movement, approvals, notifications, reporting, and process tracking.
• Improve data quality, reporting capabilities, governance processes, and the overall user experience.

Requirements

• Experience with Databricks, Alteryx, Power BI, SQL, Python, data modelling, and data design.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, and/or risk management.
• Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation and process enablement.
