Consultant Data Developer (Azure)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview.

What you will do

• Lead the solutioning, technical design, development, testing, integration, and support of cross-functional finance application systems.
• Transform financial processing, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics solutions.
• Build and orchestrate metadata-driven data pipelines and Bronze/Silver/Gold data lake patterns.
• Support DevOps-based CI/CD deployment using GitHub and related tools.
• Own application delivery, roadmaps, subject-matter expertise, and stakeholder coordination.
• Gather requirements and prepare design specifications with finance stakeholders, users, analysts, technical teams, vendors, regulators, and governing bodies.

Requirements

• Experience developing, testing, and implementing corporate finance budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Python, Spark, SQLMI, and Azure Fabric.
• Experience with data integration, data engineering, database modeling, data lakes, data pipelines, and quality engineering.
• Experience with programming, testing, debugging, and technical system integration.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• French proficiency, coding, or other skills assessments may be required during the hiring process.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S4/HANA financial ecosystems.
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS, ETL tools, OBIEE, Tableau, Alteryx, Java EE, Autosys, Jira, Confluence, Windows, or Unix.
