Material Planner, Mechanical (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Arvada, Colorado, United States; on-site

Salary: $95,000–$115,000 per year, plus Restricted Stock Units.

What you will do

• Run MRP and BOM explosions for mechanical SKUs against the Master Production Schedule.
• Maintain Clear-to-Build coverage by SKU and work center, accounting for supplier fabrication capacity constraints.
• Identify and escalate potential material shortages, coordinating expedite and dual-source actions with Strategic Sourcing.
• Share rolling forecasts with mechanical and fabrication suppliers and secure lead-time and capacity commitments.
• Maintain ERP planning parameters, including order policies, lot sizing, lead times, safety stock, make/buy flags, and time fences.
• Reconcile ERP balances with physical inventory, maintain ABC classifications, and represent mechanical material constraints in monthly S&OP reviews.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of dedicated material planning or MRP experience, ideally involving fabricated metal, enclosures, structural steel, or mechanical assemblies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of MRP logic, complex manufacturing BOM structures, and ERP planning modules such as Acumatica or similar systems.
• Experience communicating rolling forecasts and securing firm delivery commitments from fabrication suppliers.
• Advanced Excel and data management skills for shortage tracking, CTB models, and net-requirement feeds.

Nice to have

• APICS or ASCM certification, such as CPIM.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, modular enclosures, data center hardware infrastructure, or Acumatica ERP.
