Material/Production Planner (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Maintain master production schedules across production and processing services, aligning work with program milestones and on-time delivery targets.
• Generate, release, and manage work orders from procurement through delivery.
• Monitor inventory, place and expedite procurements, and manage material resources.
• Coordinate manufacturing schedules, resources, requirements, and logistical impacts with technical teams.
• Identify bottlenecks and delays, support make/buy decisions, and communicate project status and risks to stakeholders.
• Analyze production data to optimize lead times, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of material or production planning experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with engineering bills of materials and ERP/MRP/MES systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Siemens Opscenter, Jira, or Costpoint.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
