Technical Program Manager, Commercial (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end program planning and execution for Spacetime software product integration and customer mission deliverables.
• Serve as the primary program interface for customer executives and technical stakeholders.
• Run kickoffs, weekly reviews, executive readouts, and other operating rhythms across Product, Engineering, Design, and Solutions Engineering.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering plans as scope and delivery expectations evolve.
• Manage Time & Materials contract reporting, including monthly tracking of labor, subcontracts, hardware, materials, and travel at the Master Equipment List level.
• Identify schedule, scope, and dependency risks and coordinate mitigations across development, staging, and dedicated public or government cloud production environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering program management, or a closely related operations role delivering complex technical platforms.
• US citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, including the ability to influence without authority and work with senior customer executives.
• Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and modern delivery concepts, including APIs, CI/CD, and cloud deployments.
• Experience managing complex project financials, resource tracking, or strict contractual reporting requirements.
• Background in software, hardware, or mission engineering, solutions architecture, or equivalent experience running technical programs with engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with satellite and mission operations, including early-orbit commissioning and fleet readiness.
• Experience designing operational workflows, task management processes, and anomaly resolution frameworks.
• Experience with regulated, high-assurance, or government deployments.
• Familiarity with networking, telecom, or SDN and traffic engineering concepts.
