Supervisor, Production (Nights) (High-Tech Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Burnet, Texas facility; the posting header lists Austin, TX. Night shift follows a 3-2-2-3 rotation from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM after training and certification.

Salary: $76,000–$95,000 per year, based on qualifications and skills.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, train, and evaluate technicians while delegating assignments and monitoring performance.
• Enforce safety protocols, PPE use, housekeeping standards, and 6S activities.
• Maintain product quality through critical-to-quality audits, inspections, testing, documentation, and ISO audit support.
• Manage production schedules, workflow interruptions, downtime, equipment reliability, and operating costs.
• Troubleshoot non-routine issues and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, schedulers, and planners.
• Implement process and quality improvements using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, including equipment manufacturability enhancements.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment such as semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45000 standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 70 pounds.
• Technical problem-solving experience; electrical or PLC systems knowledge is beneficial.
