Production Supervisor – Injection Molding (2nd Shift)

Salary: $84,160–$131,500 per year, plus bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead second-shift injection molding operations across molding presses and secondary processes.
• Supervise molding technicians, operators, material handlers, and support personnel.
• Ensure production schedules, safety objectives, quality standards, and customer requirements are met.
• Drive productivity, scrap reduction, cycle-time improvement, and OEE initiatives.
• Lead investigations and resolution of equipment, material, process, safety, and quality issues.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, and Continuous Improvement teams on validations, equipment uptime, production schedules, new product introductions, transfers, and capacity expansion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a closely related field required; an associate degree with significant manufacturing leadership experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience and 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting injection molding operations required.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with regulated manufacturing environments, GMP, ISO, approved processes, work instructions, CAPA, and nonconformance resolution.
• Full-time availability for a weekly production schedule; the posting identifies the role as second shift.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical devices, life sciences, diagnostics, or consumables manufacturing.
• Knowledge of scientific injection molding principles, automation systems, and robotics.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience.
• Experience with SAP, MES, or other manufacturing systems.
