Principal AI/ML Recruiter (AI/ML and Robotics)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States; hybrid with 2–3 days per week in the office. Regular in-person collaboration is required, with occasional travel for conferences, industry events, and partnership meetings.

What you will do

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for AI/ML, perception, robotics, autonomous systems, and technical leadership roles.
• Partner with engineering leadership and founders on hiring strategy and closing world-class talent.
• Source candidates through academic labs, technical conferences, research papers, GitHub, and robotics communities.
• Build AI-powered recruiting tools and maintain clean, data-driven pipeline operations.
• Develop compensation strategies, manage competing offers, and negotiate equity and relocation-related packages.
• Represent the company at technical conferences and robotics meetups, while mentoring future recruiters.

Requirements

• 10+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Demonstrated success recruiting AI/ML, robotics, autonomous systems, or technical leadership talent.
• Technical fluency in AI/ML, computer vision, perception, motion planning, reinforcement learning, and model architecture.
• Advanced sourcing skills across Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, research papers, technical communities, and AI-powered recruiting tools.
• Data-driven pipeline management and strong offer negotiation skills.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and available to work hybrid, 2–3 days per week in the office.

• Recruiting experience at top AI labs, autonomous vehicle companies, or robotics startups.
• Understanding of safety-critical software development and hardware-software integration.
• Established network in AI/ML research communities and the autonomous systems industry.
• Experience scaling recruiting operations in a high-growth startup.
• Construction technology or industrial automation experience.
