Technician I- Equipment (EPI)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Front Nights (B): every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 7:12 a.m.

Hourly pay: $19–$27 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Rebuild sub-assemblies and mainframe vacuum systems using mechanical techniques and established cleaning procedures.
• Work independently and collaboratively on physically demanding technical tasks while following personal protective equipment requirements.
• Assist senior technicians with equipment verification testing after preventive maintenance.
• Use process measurement data to assess the quality of completed maintenance work.
• Provide input for the development and optimization of equipment preventive maintenance schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of related work experience or training preferred; education may substitute for experience.
• An associate technical degree in electronics or a military electronics certificate preferred.
• Practical knowledge of electronics, mechanics, vacuum theory, safety, cleanroom protocol, and IC fabrication.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems, interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, and use oscilloscopes, digital volt-ohm meters, current and voltage sources, and chart recorders.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull approximately 50 pounds and carry 50 pounds; the role involves standing, walking, bending, climbing, crawling, and exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards, dust, fumes, noise, or vibration.
