Electronics Equipment Technician II (Electronics/Aviation Infrastructure): Providing technical support for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) supporting the National Airspace Systems (NAS) with an accent on preventative maintenance, system installation, and troubleshooting. Focus on maintaining educational audio/visual technology, configuring network switches, and managing NAS automation systems.

Location: 100% on-site in Oklahoma City, OK. Candidate must be able to obtain FAA Public Trust Clearance.

Salary: $21.07 - $30.28 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on FAA Academy’s Educational A/V systems.
• Install and configure network switches, A/V routers, and electronic door locks.
• Build and repair interconnection cables for audiovisual components.
• Troubleshoot electronic circuits and solve complex problems using manufacturer manuals.
• Utilize test equipment including oscilloscopes and digital volt/ohm meters.
• Support NAS Automation systems such as EAS, ECG, DSR, and TSS.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain FAA Public Trust Clearance for access to facilities and equipment.
• High school diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant experience, or an Associates degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong electronic knowledge and basic computer skills.
• Practical experience with Audio/Visual systems and cable building/testing.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a professional office environment.
