Precision Finishing Technician III, Deburr - C Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite. Friday–Sunday, 5:00am–3:30pm, with flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts.

Base pay: $30–$40 USD per hour for California positions.

What you will do

• Deburr and finish additive-manufactured parts used in the Rutherford rocket engine.
• Use hand tools, instruments, equipment, microscopes, and pencil grinders to perform precision finishing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area across production floors, equipment areas, and field locations.
• Handle, lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Work in elevated, confined, awkward, and tight spaces while performing repetitive manual operations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience finishing machine, cast, forged, or printed parts.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift, climb ladders, and work around noise, temperature variations, and moving machinery.
• For work in U.S. offices, must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, admitted refugee or asylee, or eligible to obtain the required export authorizations under ITAR.

Nice to have

• Experience with additive manufacturing or investment casting.
• Experience with high-strength steels and Inconel alloys.
• Knowledge of part quality assurance processes and dye penetrant testing.
• Knowledge of TIG, laser, and electron beam welding.
