Additive Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Redondo Beach, United States; onsite. Applicants must be U.S. Persons or eligible to obtain a U.S. export license under ITAR/EAR requirements.

Compensation: $35.00–$45.00 per hour, with potential stock options and access to medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) benefits for full-time hires.

What you will do

• Manage a priority-based print farm and coordinate production needs.
• Operate and maintain metal laser powder bed fusion printers, a multi-axis depowder machine, Wire EDM, an Instron tensile test stand, and small-scale quality equipment.
• Perform additive part post-processing, including support removal, grinding, polishing, surface treatment, and cleaning.
• Execute work instructions, provide process feedback, and develop efficiency and safety improvements.
• Perform visual and optical inspections, take measurements, maintain consumable inventory, and write non-conformance reports.
• Maintain an organized workspace and use required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Professional or personal experience operating and maintaining FDM, FFF, or SLA 3D printing systems.
• 4+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to wear a full-face respirator for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb unassisted.
• U.S. Person status or eligibility to obtain an applicable U.S. export license is required.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with polymer 3D printers in manufacturing, engineering, or fabrication environments.
• Experience safely operating CNC or manual milling machines.
• Experience using borescopes, microscopes, profilometers, or height gauges.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and ability to operate a forklift.
