TL;DR
Integration Technician II, Subassemblies, Second Shift (Aerospace): Assembling, installing, and testing flight hardware for the Terran R reusable rocket with an accent on aerospace processes, fastener and torque applications, secondary retention, avionics familiarity, and bonding operations. Focus on building and documenting job operations, operating calibrated hand and pneumatic tools, and performing critical integration work in tight spaces during second-shift production.

Location: Long Beach, California, United States. On-site second-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. PT, with a 50-hour workweek including 10 guaranteed overtime hours.

Hiring range: $27.20–$40.80 USD per hour, plus a 10% shift differential.

What you will do

  • Assemble, install, and test flight hardware and subassemblies for Terran R.
  • Perform critical integration operations with high standards for quality and detail.
  • Set up and operate hand, pneumatic, calibrated tools, and measuring devices.
  • Collaborate with production, integration engineering, and quality teams.
  • Build, develop, and document job operations for development and production.

Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment handling flight hardware and performing critical operations.
  • Technical skills in fastener and torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics, and bonding operations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and production teams.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work comfortably in tight spaces.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or experience in a related field.
  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant license.
  • Electromechanical build proficiency.
  • Familiarity with propulsion systems and components.
