Trade Compliance, Associate Specialist - Remote

Location: Remote within the United States; company location listed as Calabasas, California.

Salary: $77,200–$92,700 annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Support the management, planning, and oversight of trade compliance for imported merchandise and export operations.
• Collect and review vendor and supply chain documentation, including Lacey Act questionnaires, CPSC documents, bills of materials, and other government agency information.
• Create US import certifications such as FDA accession letters and EPA engine certificates.
• Maintain compliance records, Oracle UPC accuracy, Workfront data, COO determinations, and open purchase order audits.
• Document compliance processes, track internal compliance through audits, and manage departmental reminders and deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on data and documentation supporting CTPAT supply chain security activities.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in customs brokerage, importing, ethical sourcing, responsible sourcing, sustainability, retail, supply chain, or manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, global logistics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of customs and government agency regulations, Harmonized Tariff classifications, customs entry processes, and import/export requirements.
• Experience developing and managing large datasets, including CSR and supply chain data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organization, communication, collaboration, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
