Associate Commodity Manager

Location: Westminster, Colorado or Dayton, Ohio; in-office 4 days per week. Travel requirement: 15%.

Salary: $67,700–$93,200 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Drive strategic cost-reduction initiatives with suppliers and present quarterly financial results to executive management.
• Lead cross-functional projects to resource or dual-source critical materials and reduce production risk.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and Program teams on new product introductions and global sourcing strategies.
• Use Excel, Google Sheets, SmartSheets, and ERP and analytics tools to evaluate supplier forecasts, material float, and buffer stock agreements.
• Build relationships with global suppliers and conduct executive performance reviews and scorecard cadences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, direct procurement, and commodity management across the product lifecycle.
• Advanced expertise with Excel, Google Sheets, SmartSheets, and ERP systems such as Oracle or Agile.
• Experience negotiating pricing, supply agreements, long-term agreements, and statements of work.
• Strong communication and team-building skills, including presenting to multinational cross-functional groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, such as BSEE or BSME, or in Business with technical experience.
• Ability to work in the Westminster or Dayton office 4 days per week and travel 15%.

Nice to have

• Experience as an internal super-user for Cognos, DOMO, or similar analytics systems.
• Background managing complex electronic or mechanical manufacturing commodities in a global environment.
