Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, United States; hybrid work with onsite availability required in the office 3 days per week

Pay: $75–$100 per hour. Contract-to-hire position; full-time conversion includes equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Orchestrate cross-functional execution across multiple related projects and workstreams.
• Develop and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, dependencies, and documentation.
• Track program status, risks, blockers, mitigation strategies, and resource allocation.
• Facilitate collaboration between product, engineering, data, compliance, security, infrastructure, and support teams.
• Run program-level meetings and status reviews, including daily standups and sprint planning.
• Present program updates to leadership and resolve cross-team conflicts and delivery blockers.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of program or project management experience focused on software engineering.
• Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager.
• Proficiency with program management software and tools.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Ability to work onsite in the Palo Alto office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• PMP, PgMP, or another relevant certification.
• Healthcare industry experience.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with Notion, Claude, Smartsheet, or comparable project management tools.
