Paramedic (Certified/Licensed) (Pediatric Home Care)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; travel to members’ homes and community locations is required. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00am–6:00pm local time.

Salary: $24–$30 per hour, plus an annual bonus incentive, company benefits, and potential participation in an employee equity purchase program.

What you will do

• Travel to members’ homes or community locations to respond to acute and episodic medical, behavioral, and social needs.
• Deliver compassionate pediatric care as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes advanced practice providers, nurses, navigators, pharmacists, psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists.
• Assist with urgent member needs and provide therapeutic interventions under direct physician guidance.
• Support clinical intake visits and the engagement and onboarding of new members.
• Follow up with members after inpatient admissions or emergency department visits to prevent readmissions and address their root causes.

Requirements

• EMT-Paramedic with an active Texas license and/or Nationally Registered Paramedic (NREMT).
• PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
• At least 3 years of field clinical experience.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and trust-building skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use multiple technology platforms for care delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with pediatric patients.
• Experience in critical care, primary care, telehealth, community paramedicine, mobile integrated healthcare, emergency medicine, or value-based care.
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency.
