Paramedic/Boston Medical Center Navigator

Location: MA MIC Touchdown and Boston Medical Center, Massachusetts; hybrid work split between the medical center and community field visits.

Salary: $34.50–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate care for Cityblock members at Boston Medical Center and facilitate communication between hospital and Cityblock teams.
• Deliver acute and longitudinal medical care in homes, shelters, offices, public places, and other community settings.
• Facilitate virtual provider visits and perform authorized clinical procedures, including IV medication administration, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
• Conduct ED, inpatient, outreach, specimen collection, and follow-up visits, including assessments and transition-of-care support.
• Review hospital census and alerts, document interactions in Commons and EPIC, and coordinate discharge planning, services, and medical equipment.
• Maintain clinical equipment and vehicle readiness, process laboratory specimens, and complete required documentation.

Requirements

• High school education.
• Four years of experience.
• Paramedic certification in the state where operating and BLS CPR certification.
• Unrestricted driver's license and ability to perform community field visits.
• Ability to complete medical clearance requirements, including immunity documentation for MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella, and a TB screen, unless an approved accommodation applies.

Nice to have

• ACLS, PALS, AMLS, PHTLS, or GEMS certification.
• Certified Community Paramedic (CP-C) certification from the IBSC.
