What you will do

• Escort patients, clean and stock examination rooms, and support a positive patient experience.
• Review medical history, collect updated health information, take vital signs, draw blood, administer injections and immunizations, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications under provider direction and written orders.
• Perform scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, documentation, referrals, and specialist visit coordination.
• Process test results, communicate results to patients, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in patient outreach, care-plan development, and efforts to address gaps in care.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration where required by law.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.
• Ability to perform clinical and administrative patient-care duties.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
