Finance Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day activities, workload allocation, deadlines, reviews, and issue resolution for the Atlanta finance and accounting team.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and review reconciliations, journal entries, variance analyses, and financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, cash-flow monitoring, working-capital management, and capital-expenditure analysis.
• Prepare and present financial results, budget variances, and key performance indicators to finance leadership and business partners.
• Maintain internal controls, coordinate audit documentation, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and audit standards.
• Improve finance systems, reporting tools, procedures, and team capabilities while coaching and developing finance employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; an MBA or master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 4 years in a management or leadership role.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and internal controls in a mid- to large-size organization.
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial modeling.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite, as well as Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, executive-level business partnering, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
