Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Irving, Texas, or New York, New York

What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting across business functions.
• Build monthly management reporting packages with variance analysis, business drivers, and clear narratives.
• Develop financial models for long-range planning, scenario analysis, and business case evaluation.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance, challenge assumptions, and support data-driven decisions.
• Track KPIs and operating metrics, surfacing risks and opportunities for leadership.
• Support board and investor reporting and collaborate with Accounting so actuals flow into forecasts and reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or a related finance role, including investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance.
• Ability to build three-statement and complex operating models from scratch.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial planning tools such as Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment, or similar.
• Ability to turn large data sets into executive-ready outputs while preserving the underlying financial story.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex financial information to non-finance audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience at a high-growth startup or financial services company.
• Hands-on experience with Datarails.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA.
