Accounting Manager (Medtech)

Location: Must be based in New York (Onsite)

Salary: $200,000 – $300,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Own core accounting operations end-to-end, including monthly close, GL, AP/AR, payroll, and tax.
• Design and document controls, policies, and processes for a best-in-class accounting function.
• Drive technical accounting decisions regarding revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, and multi-entity reporting.
• Evaluate and implement scalable financial tools and ERP systems.
• Partner with Strategic Finance to produce monthly reporting packages and board materials.
• Collaborate with Legal and Operations to structure contracts and financial controls.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of accounting experience, including Big 4 or equivalent audit experience.
• Deep working knowledge of US GAAP, financial controls, and technical accounting.
• Demonstrated experience implementing modern financial systems and ERPs (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Ramp, Bill, Rippling).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work onsite in New York.

• Experience standing up an accounting function from scratch at an early-stage or hyper-scaling company.
