What you will do

• Own the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, together with financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, earnings releases, and investor communications.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, researching complex transactions and drafting technical accounting memoranda.
• Lead equity accounting under ASC 718 and lease accounting under ASC 842, including stock-based compensation, lease schedules, disclosures, and equity administration reconciliation.
• Improve financial reporting processes, controls, close timelines, data integrity, and automation; lead use of Workiva and partner with finance and IT on reporting systems and ERP tools.
• Manage external audits and quarterly reviews, support SOX compliance, and identify and mitigate financial reporting risks.
• Build, mentor, and lead an onshore and offshore financial reporting team while partnering with FP&A, investor relations, legal, tax, human resources, and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification.
• At least 9 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Public accounting foundation, ideally with manager-level experience, and extensive public-company SEC reporting experience.
• Strong technical accounting expertise, including ASC 718 stock-based compensation and ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Extensive Workiva experience, proven team leadership, and experience managing complex reporting environments.
