Sr. Electronic Technician

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair printed circuit board assemblies at the individual component level.
• Analyze failure data and diagnostic results to isolate faults and determine corrective actions.
• Interpret schematics, technical documentation, processes, and written or verbal instructions.
• Set up, operate, and verify electronic test equipment, including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, and variable power supplies.
• Perform touch-ups and replace through-hole and surface-mount components.
• Support product quality, workmanship, accuracy, and on-time production flow.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Applied Electronics or a related technical field, or equivalent military training and experience.
• At least five years of experience troubleshooting and debugging digital electronic circuits at the component level.
• Proficiency repairing electronic assemblies and identifying component and soldering defects.
• Knowledge of soldering, flux application, and PCB cleaning techniques.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Must complete or be able to complete X-Ray, Ersascope, solder, and IPC certification training.

Nice to have

• SAP ERP experience.
• Knowledge of data communications interfaces, microprocessors, and microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of Q50 and IPC-A-610 quality standards.
