Senior Technician II - Engineering (RF/Microwave)

Location: Onsite at the facility in Beverly, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $24.52–$53.85 per hour

What you will do

• Troubleshoot product test failures to the component level and determine root causes.
• Generate nonconformance reports for production test issues.
• Support Product Engineers in resolving production-related issues.
• Assist operators with testing and troubleshooting production hardware.
• Perform failure analysis using structured troubleshooting techniques.
• Operate RF/Microwave test equipment and fixtures.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in electronics assembly and testing, with a proven record of excellence.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings.
• Experience with soldering and cable assembly.
• Proficiency in space-qualified construction and testing techniques, documentation generation, organization, and storage.
• Must provide proof of US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status under US export-control requirements.

Nice to have

• BS/BA in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• J-STD certification covering terminals and wires, through-hole technology, and surface-mount technology.
• Experience with high-precision timing, testing, measurement, and ultra-high-vacuum systems.
• RF design capabilities and FPGA programming experience.
