Senior Recruiter, R&D

Location: United States - Remote Opportunity

Salary: $108,000–$178,500 per year, plus eligibility for the equity plan.

What you will do

• Support hiring across R&D, including engineering and other technical roles, with a focus on senior and staff-level talent.
• Partner with hiring managers, People Operations, and leadership to understand hiring priorities and calibrate role requirements.
• Own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer negotiation and closing.
• Source diverse, high-quality candidates through creative outreach, networking, HireEZ, and open-source communities.
• Manage and optimize recruiting workflows in Ashby to support a smooth, data-informed hiring process.
• Improve candidate experience, remove process bottlenecks, and support onboarding transitions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Deep technical fluency, ideally including distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, workflow orchestration, or platform engineering.
• Experience sourcing passive candidates and engaging technical talent communities.
• Strong working knowledge of ATS and sourcing platforms; Ashby experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working with senior leadership.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, collaboration, and judgment in fast-paced hiring environments.

• Familiarity with open-source communities or developer-centric products.
