Maintenance Mechanic (District Energy)

Location: Onsite in Baltimore, Maryland, United States

Salary: $33.12–$44.51 per hour, plus a 10% bonus target

What you will do

• Maintain and repair plant equipment, piping systems, valves, traps, pumps, and related machinery.
• Install, replace, and troubleshoot equipment and basic piping systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and operate hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain safe and clean working conditions and identify, report, or correct unsafe environments.
• Support on-scene work under direction and ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
• Work overtime and participate in a rotating on-call schedule covering nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company insurance standards.
• Ability to pass a company-provided pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb and tolerate heights up to 100 feet, and work in heat within an industrial production plant.

Nice to have

• 6G Welding Certification.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing and work with minimal supervision.
