Maintenance Technician

TL;DR

Maintenance Technician: Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on quartz processing equipment including crushers, screens, conveyors, and mills with an accent on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and automation controls. Focus on diagnosing malfunctions, installing systems, maintaining mobile equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Location: Onsite in Randolph, MN (in-person training period at Le Sueur, MN facility)

Salary: $22.00 - $30.00 hourly

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on processing equipment like crushers, screens, conveyors, and mills per schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Assist with installation and repair of automation systems including PLCs and HMIs.
• Maintain mobile equipment such as loaders and trucks, inspect for defects, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Document activities in CMMS, participate in safety meetings, and maintain clean work areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience in industrial maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, electrical schematics, mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting automated systems, basic welding, safety regulations.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs, stand 12 hours, work outdoors in all weather, wear PPE including respirator (clean-shaven required).
• Basic computer skills for CMMS and documentation.
