What you will do

• Lead a program, Integrated Product Team, or portfolio with responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Manage budgets, schedules, execution plans, and resources in alignment with contractual requirements.
• Monitor program health and performance metrics, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, operations, and other cross-functional teams to deliver program objectives.
• Communicate program status, risks, and issues to customers and stakeholders through reviews, reports, and presentations.
• Develop Learning & Development programs, mentor junior managers, and remove organizational obstacles affecting delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree, or a master’s degree with 10 years of experience.
• Typically 12+ years of related experience.
• Expert knowledge of strategic and operational program management, including leadership of complex programs or substantial portfolios.
• Strong financial acumen for managing and reporting program health and performance.
• Advanced negotiation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Technical background or engineering degree for Development Program Manager roles; technical acumen for Sustaining Program Manager roles.

Nice to have

• Senior-level program management certification such as PfMP.
• Agile, Lean Six Sigma, risk management, contract management, and negotiation experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, systems engineering, supply chain, and logistics.
