What you will do
- Lead programs with overall responsibility and authority for cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and execution for portfolios valued up to $250M in alignment with contractual requirements.
- Monitor program performance using EVMS, CAM, BOE, FAR, and CAS to implement necessary corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and operations, to achieve program objectives.
- Communicate program status, risks, and issues to high-level stakeholders and external customers.
- Develop and initiate Learning & Development programs to enhance team capabilities and mentor junior managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 12+ years of related experience.
- Expert knowledge of strategic and operational aspects of program management.
- Strong financial acumen for managing and reporting on program health and performance.
- Proven ability to manage high-profile, large-scale programs or substantial program portfolios.
- Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills for stakeholder interactions.
Nice to have
- Senior-level project management certifications (e.g., PfMP).
- Familiarity with Agile project management and Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Asana.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and systems engineering processes.
- Experience with contract management, negotiation, and supply chain logistics.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
