Senior Program Manager - Space and Defense Group

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY / Elma, New York

Salary: $115,000–$155,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead technical programs from contract award through final end-item delivery, including support for sales and proposal activities.
• Coordinate large cross-functional teams across contracts, procurement, engineering, testing, operations, and quality.
• Manage activities from engineering design and qualification through the full production lifecycle.
• Confirm that customer and contractual requirements are correctly interpreted and fulfilled.
• Ensure program plans, schedules, costs, and performance meet customer and hirify.global expectations.
• Manage technical risks and program costs, and present status updates during monthly Program Management Reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
• At least five years of program or project management experience in production or manufacturing environments, preferably aerospace, defense, or other highly engineered industries.
• Experience managing complex production programs with direct responsibility for cost, schedule, and performance.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through full-rate production and resolving issues affecting program performance.
• Knowledge of contractual requirements and scope adherence, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information; current security clearance is highly preferred.
