Category Manager - Lab

Salary: $77,400–$135,400 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Develop and manage a portfolio of laboratory agreements.
• Conduct product, market, and supplier assessments for assigned laboratory categories.
• Identify portfolio gaps and engage suppliers that are not currently part of national agreements.
• Develop contracting strategies for individual members, supply networks, academic medical centers, and non-acute laboratory customers.
• Launch managed-service offerings, RFIs, and RFPs, and negotiate contracts or end-user agreements.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, revenue plans, and statements of work for consulting engagements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant degree preferred.
• Financial proficiency with expense and revenue budgets preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills preferred.
• Willingness to travel.

• Laboratory experience in a clinical or sales role.
