Category Manager - Capital Equipment (Supply Chain)

Location: Davidson, North Carolina, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday and flexible work location on Fridays

Annual base salary: $97,406.66–$135,834.99; incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Develop and execute procurement processes and multi-year capital equipment category strategies.
• Lead sourcing activities and negotiate contracts throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships through formal Supplier Relationship Management processes.
• Improve supplier quality, delivery, productivity, innovation, and overall performance.
• Partner with internal, regional, and global procurement stakeholders to align business needs and deliver productivity and cost avoidance.
• Travel approximately 10–15%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, including 5+ years in category management.
• Required experience developing and managing a global supply base.
• Experience with high-level negotiations, supplier development across regions, and multifunctional projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, relationship management, change management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday in Davidson, North Carolina.

• MBA or another advanced degree.
