Mental Health Provider (40 Hours Weekly with PTO and Benefits) - Nottingham, MD

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide patient-centered, outcomes-based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families aged 12 and older.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, document clinical progress, and deliver evidence-based interventions.
• Lead support and psychoeducation groups, webinars, and workshops on mental health topics.
• Collaborate with behavioral health and medical clinicians to coordinate integrated patient care.
• Complete electronic medical record documentation and use computer applications, preferably Microsoft Office.
• Address patients’ social needs and coordinate referrals for specialty care, hospitalization, and advanced psychiatric assessment or treatment.

Requirements

• Master’s-level licensed mental health clinician, such as an LPC, LPCC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, or PhD.
• Clinicians pursuing independent licensure must obtain it within two years of the hire date.
• BLS certification is required or must be obtained upon hire.
• Experience providing counseling and mental health services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness and psychological issues.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of experience as an independently licensed behavioral health clinician.
• Experience using evidence-based treatments for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other behavioral health disorders.
• Experience with behavioral interventions, critical incident event management, and case management.
