Associate - Capstone Partners' Market Intelligence/Lead Generation (Investment Banking)

Location: Boston, MA; office workplace type. Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States. Huntington does not sponsor immigration benefits or work authorization.

Salary: $70,000–$105,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Publish market intelligence reports, articles, and surveys for business development and external audiences.
• Lead primary research projects, including proprietary surveys.
• Analyze microeconomic and macroeconomic trends and their impact on M&A.
• Write research reports and articles for external publication.
• Collaborate with Lead Generation Services, Banking Teams, Managing Directors, and Directors across 1–3 designated industries.
• Support senior team members with project execution, attend trade shows, and coach junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, English, or Business.
• At least 2 years of experience in business writing, market research, economic reporting, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and research and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple projects by deadline, and demonstrate integrity, discretion, confidentiality, and a strong work ethic.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Authorization to work full-time in the United States.
• Ability to pass an FBI background check with fingerprinting to be associated with the broker dealer; registration as a representative is not required.

• Familiarity with Capital IQ, FactSet, and PitchBook.
