Associate - Capstone Partners' Market Intelligence/Lead Generation

Location: Boston, MA, United States; office workplace. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and pass an FBI background check with fingerprinting.

Salary: $70,000–$105,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Publish market intelligence reports, articles, and surveys for outbound business development.
• Lead primary research projects, including proprietary surveys.
• Analyze microeconomic and macroeconomic trends and their impact on M&A activity.
• Write research reports and articles for external publication.
• Collaborate with Lead Generation Services and Banking teams across one to three designated industries.
• Support senior team members with research and project execution, and contribute to industry events and junior team coaching.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, English, or Business.
• At least 2 years of experience in business writing, market research, economic reporting, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, research, critical-thinking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively under deadlines.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• U.S. work authorization and successful completion of an FBI fingerprint background check are required.
