Senior Mechanical Engineer -Components Development

Location: Bangalore, India. Relocation eligible; travel required up to 10% of the time.

What you will do

• Evaluate gas distribution components and systems, determine test methods, and plan reliability studies for component and system qualification.
• Test components, analyze performance data, and compile engineering findings into written reports.
• Identify and troubleshoot difficult mechanical problems and implement mechanical solutions for complex product issues.
• Develop test stands with automated operation and data collection capabilities.
• Design and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, detailed drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate engineering projects, supplier development, documentation, and operational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with mechanical engineering analysis, component testing, reliability studies, and technical reporting.
• Experience using LabVIEW or related software for component testing.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems with limited supervision and coordinate with colleagues in North America and Singapore.
