What you will do

• Lead the mechanical design of complex electromechanical products and enclosures for demanding industrial environments.
• Develop detailed 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Perform thermal, structural, shock, and vibration analysis using simulation-based methods.
• Drive Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) assessments and tolerance analysis.
• Manage product structures, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and engineering change workflows in PLM systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Electrical, Firmware, and Manufacturing to ensure successful product integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience designing electromechanical assemblies and industrial enclosures for embedded electronics.
• Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD platforms.
• Strong understanding of thermal management, structural mechanics, and environmental robustness.
• Proven experience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and materials selection.
• Experience managing product releases and documentation within PLM and ERP systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools like ANSYS.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as UL, CE, IEC, and IEEE.
• Familiarity with Python or engineering automation tools.
• Experience designing products for harsh outdoor environments with IP-rated protection.
