Sr. Operations Manager (AI Hardware)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; on-site

Salary: $170,000–$248,000 annually, plus potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end inventory control across internal warehouses, manufacturing sites, contract manufacturers, 3PLs, and partner-held inventory.
• Set warehouse standards for receiving, storage, transfers, cycle counts, staging, kitting support, and controlled disposition.
• Own 3PL governance, performance management, scorecards, service levels, escalations, and corrective action plans.
• Control RMA and reverse logistics inventory movements through receipt, inspection, disposition, reconciliation, and system transaction completion.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting on inventory valuation, period-end close, SOX readiness, audit evidence, and financial controls.
• Improve ERP/WMS workflows, reporting, dashboards, exception queues, inventory visibility, and continuous improvement programs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, supply chain, manufacturing operations, 3PL management, logistics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with inventory control, warehouse execution, partner operations, cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of receiving, transfers, inventory adjustments, scrap, MRB, RMA/reverse logistics, unbuild/rebuild activity, storage controls, and physical inventory governance.
• Experience working across multiple inventory nodes, including warehouses, manufacturing sites, contract manufacturers, 3PLs, data centers, or partner locations.
• Working knowledge of ERP, WMS, and operational reporting systems; NetSuite experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, escalation, and cross-functional leadership skills, including the ability to influence external partners without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience in hardware, semiconductor, electronics, data center infrastructure, or complex technical manufacturing.
• Experience with SOX controls, audit readiness, segregation of duties, inventory valuation, or financial control environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or related certification.
