Fullstack Staff Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; hybrid with at least 3 days in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time. hirify.global is not offering relocation assistance.

Salary: $131,600–$210,300 USD per year, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Design, build, and test software products and systems serving a global customer base.
• Develop robust and scalable web applications, services, and payment technology.
• Contribute to payment services, transaction platforms, real-time payments, and Buy Now Pay Later technology.
• Collaborate with Product, Test, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum teams on technical solutions.
• Improve product quality, service technology, scalability, security, and reusability.
• Analyze bugs, debug software issues, and support new technology capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years of relevant experience; alternative advanced-degree pathways are accepted.
• Experience in software engineering and developing or implementing web-based or mobile applications.
• Expertise in one or more development languages, such as Java, C#, or C++.
• Experience with leadership, code reviews, coding standards, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience creating and maintaining test plans and executing testing procedures.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and building or enhancing developer tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with container-based technologies.
• Experience building and testing enterprise-scale web services.
• Product development experience.
• Experience on client-facing project or technical teams.
