Full Stack Java/Angular Engineer

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; hybrid work with regular in-person collaboration

Salary: $48.08–$53.85 per hour

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Java backend services and Angular frontend components.
• Own features end to end, from technical design and business requirements through production support.
• Build and consume RESTful and SOAP-based APIs using Spring Boot.
• Write clean, maintainable code and automated unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with product owners, business partners, and engineering peers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Review pull requests, troubleshoot production issues, and improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• More than three years of professional experience developing scalable enterprise software with Java and Angular.
• Hands-on full stack engineering experience with end-to-end feature ownership.
• Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful and SOAP services, object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and SOLID principles.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests with mocking frameworks, and using Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and requirements analysis skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, RabbitMQ, Kafka, microservices, micro UI patterns, or 12-factor application design.
• Experience with CI/CD, observability, monitoring, distributed tracing, or Adobe tagging.
• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
• Experience using AI-assisted developer tools or applying AI to improve development productivity, testing, code quality, or diagnostics.
