Forward Deployed Engineer (Blockchain)

Location: Menlo Park, United States; hybrid. Regular travel to customer locations across Europe is required, with frequent onsite work at customer environments.

What you will do

• Build and deploy integrations, tooling, configurations, and production-ready solutions for enterprise customers.
• Own technical delivery from project kickoff through configuration, testing, user acceptance testing, production deployment, and post-launch support.
• Integrate enterprise products with core banking and capital-markets systems using APIs, integration interfaces, and data pipeline technologies.
• Deploy solutions into on-premise, network-isolated, and air-gapped banking environments while producing security and audit evidence.
• Lead technical workshops, architecture discussions, implementation planning, and customer enablement sessions.
• Convert implementation feedback into reusable deployment assets, playbooks, documentation, and product improvements.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in software engineering, forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, professional services, technical consulting, implementation engineering, or enterprise software delivery.
• Proficiency in at least one systems or backend language, such as Python, Go, or Rust, sufficient to build and ship integrations, tooling, and services independently.
• Experience implementing and deploying enterprise software in complex customer environments.
• Knowledge of protocol intermediation, enterprise integration patterns, cloud technologies, security fundamentals, and modern software architectures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English skills required; willingness to travel regularly to customer locations across Europe.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial institutions, including private banking, wealth management, custody, payments, treasury, or capital markets.
• Background in Bitcoin, blockchain, digital assets, tokenization, or fintech.
• Experience integrating enterprise software through APIs and modern integration frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerized deployments, infrastructure automation, Layer-2 technologies, or digital asset infrastructure.
• Experience contributing customer implementation feedback to engineering roadmaps.
