Business Analyst Sr (Regulatory Reporting)

hirify.global is a banking organization whose Finance function manages regulatory reporting, financial analysis, risk controls, and enterprise-wide reporting initiatives.

What you will do

• Support the preparation and analysis of weekly, monthly, and quarterly regulatory reports.
• Analyze large datasets, perform variance analysis, and ensure reporting accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
• Research, collect, interpret, and document business requirements, processes, procedures, and workflow analytics.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, Risk, business stakeholders, and technology teams to perform gap analysis and model future processes.
• Contribute to Axiom regulatory reporting initiatives, ERP and FirstBank integrations, quarterly release testing, automation, and process optimization.
• Provide consultation and problem-solving support for business designs, reporting initiatives, and project management.

Requirements

• University or college degree, typically a bachelor’s degree, or a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with business requirements, business processes, data analytics, management reporting, and requirements analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, process management, and data/process modeling skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Must work onsite in Pittsburgh five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Axiom, Workiva (Wdesk), TOAD, Teradata, Excel, or Hyperion Essbase.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting, financial systems, waterfall delivery, or project management.
