Business Systems Analyst - Technology

Location: Columbus, Ohio area; primarily virtual, with at least four days per week in the office and one day per week from home. Up to 20% travel required.

Base salary: $71,300–$98,100 per year, plus potential variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Act as a liaison between business and IT organizations to analyze requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Build trust with advisor practices and business partners while owning needs and issues through resolution.
• Develop operational playbooks, procedural documentation, user manuals, and technology adoption materials.
• Analyze technology trends, recurring support issues, and practice needs to identify improvements and scalable solutions.
• Oversee critical technology incidents, coordinate support teams, and drive service restoration.
• Develop corrective actions, workarounds, escalation plans, and hand-offs while maintaining incident management and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in incident management involving hardware, software, network configuration, and support.
• 3+ years of experience eliciting, translating, and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, organizational, time management, customer service, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Must reside in the Columbus, Ohio area or be able to commute to the Columbus office; valid U.S. work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and Power BI.
• Understanding of networking, information security, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.
• Experience implementing and documenting technology solutions supporting business operations, security, compliance, audits, and third-party relationships.
