Software Engineer II, Android Ad Tech

Location: DC-Washington-TWP Headquarters; on-site five days a week

Salary: $98,800–$164,600 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain native Android applications.
• Own native ad format development, real-time bidding and header bidding integrations, and Android ad measurement.
• Research and implement native advertising patterns such as in-feed cards, native video units, and sponsored content.
• Build measurement pipelines for ad viewability, click-through rates, and latency.
• Advise advertising partners on Android privacy standards, Privacy Sandbox, advertising ID policies, and platform constraints.
• Troubleshoot ad latency, battery usage, application stability, and device fragmentation issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of Android SDK experience.
• High proficiency in Java and Kotlin, including code optimization and application performance.
• Experience releasing applications to Google Play Store or Amazon Appstore.
• Experience implementing, optimizing, and maintaining mobile advertising frameworks and SDKs in native Android applications.
• Knowledge of Git, RESTful services, Agile/Scrum, unit testing, quality assurance, and code documentation.
